ABC’s science fiction show FlashForward is a story about a group of characters trying to piece together their futures after a worldwide phenomenon caused everyone to black out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and see a piece of their future on April 29th, 2010.
While the show may have had pieces of writing that were very dumb, I really dug it. It has been on a break since around Thanksgiving and it was slated to reappear in ABC’s line-up March 4th. Now ABC has pushed it back an additional two weeks to March 18th out of fear that no one will watch it because of American Idol. When asked how this would effect the very important date of April 29th David S. Goyer, one of the shows creators, said “That may be one of the casualties of American Idol”.
Oh man, another one bites the dust.
