A lot of stuff is on tonight including the end of Luck and the return of Mad Men.

8:00 – Frozen Planet – “Summer” - Polar-bear cubs learn to swim; a pair of Arctic wolves hunt a musk-ox calf; a minke whale is pursued by a family of killer whales; and king penguins find ways to avoid the summer heat. Discovery

8:30 – Bob’s Burgers – “Synchronized Swimming” – The kids dodge gym class with a bogus independent study; Bob adds a soft-serve ice-cream machine to the restaurant. FOX

9:00 – Luck - In the series finale, Gus draws on past experience to deal with a present threat, and Ace is floored by a surprise visitor. HBO

9:00 – Mad Men – “A Little Kiss” - Don is greeted with a surprise in the Season 5 opener. Meanwhile, Roger and Pete clash; and Joan has a run-in with a houseguest. AMC

9:00 – Shameless – “Just Like the Pilgrims Intended” - Fiona’s Thanksgiving plans get put on the back burner when Frank tries to get Monica out of bed and help her out of her depression. Showtime

9:30 – American Dad – “Less Money, Mo’ Problems” - Stan makes a bet with the freeloading Hayley and Jeff that they can live for a month on minimum wage; Steve and Roger make it a mission to test-drive the car of their dreams. FOX

10:00 – House of Lies – “Business” - The Rainmaker teams with Marty to scuttle MetroCapital’s attempt to buy the firm, but corporate duplicity may leave Marty out in the cold. At home, Roscoe is upset with his father when he learns the news about April. Showtime

10:10 – Eastbound & Down – “Chapter 19″ - Kenny tries a new pitch while attempting to be a better man and more responsible father; Stevie can’t shake his feelings of remorse. HBO

10:30 – Californication – “The Party” - Hank’s stay with Karen and Richard comes to an unwelcome end, and once again he is a man without a home. Later, he runs into Lizzie, who lures him back to the Runkle place for a rendezvous with friends and foes alike. What starts out as a ball soon turns into a brawl, with Hank and Tyler squaring off in the main event. Showtime

10:40 – Life’s Too Short - Warwick hopes to impress a potential girlfriend—and his ex-wife—with a celebrity guest list for a housewarming party at his new apartment, but winds up paying TV personality Cat Deeley to attend when there aren’t many RSVPs. HBO

11:30 – Loiter Squad - Odd Future’s new sketch show. Adult Swim

12:15 – Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole – “Gaston Leroux’s Je Ne Sais Quoi!” - Victor’s narcissism grows after he creates a way to look at his own face without mirrors or photos. Adult Swim
