What’s Good on the TV? – Sunday February 5th, 2012

There’s not too much new on tonight. I guess the networks don’t want to compete with a certain huge sporting event.  Check out what’s on below.

9:00 – Luck - Ace meets with his parole officer and starts to line up potential investors as a public face for his next big venture. HBO

9:00 Shameless – “Father’s Day” – When Eddie Jackson’s body turns up, Frank thinks he should be in line to claim his pension and insurance benefits. Showtime

9:00 – Downton Abbey – Season II Episode 5 - While the family looks forward to having a private home again, cousin Isobel has other ideas for Downton. In other events, a wounded officer makes a startling claim that could alter the Downton succession plan; and Sir Richard and Mary go estate-hunting. PBS

10:30 – Californication – “The Ride-Along” – To do research for his film role, Sam goes on a ride-along with Santa Monica police and invites Charlie and Hank to tag along, but the night takes a terrifying turn. Later, Richard drinks too much at a crowded restaurant and Hank, Charlie and Sam come to Karen and Becca’s rescue. Showtime

12:15 – Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole – “H.P. Lovecraft’s Vagina!” - Victor and Elizabeth swap roles in a gender experiment. Adult Swim
