What’s Good on the TV? – Sunday February 12th, 2012

Tonight will be a busy Sunday night for avid TV watchers. There’s the return of The Walking Dead and the premiere of Comic Book Men on AMC alone.

8:00 – 2012 BAFTA Awards - I’m guessing a lot of British people are going to win film awards. BBC

8:00 – Once Upon a Time – “Skin Deep” - I didn’t like this show the one time I watched it, but I’m willing to give it a second chance.  ABC

9:00 -Fear Factor – “The Bees Are so Angry” - The sting is on when contestants are covered in bees. In other dares, players dangle from a flying helicopter and are shot through a 13th-floor glass window. NBC

9:00 -Luck – Jerry pursues a deal to buy the horse that Renzo lost to Mulligan while also talking to Escalante about training it. HBO

9:00 – Downton Abbey – Series II Ep 6 - The Spanish flu sweeping through the household and infecting Cora, Lavinia and Mr. Carson, among others. PBS

9:00 – Shameless – “Can I Have a Mother?” – Debbie’s day at day care takes a wild turn with the arrival of Grammy Gallagher, who’s been released on a medical furlough. She seeks Frank’s help in tracking down her old meth-lab pal who owes her a big debt.  Showtime

9:00 – The Walking Dead – “Nebraska” – In the aftermath of a horrific discovery, Rick must restore order. Meanwhile, Hershel falls back into a bad habit and disappears, leaving Glenn and Rick to track him down in town. AMC

9:30 – American Dad! – “Wheels & the Legman and the Case of Grandpa’s Key” - Stan joins Steve and Roger’s make-believe detective agency, but Stan proves to be an incompetent fake sleuth, and Roger demands that Steve fire him. He won’t do it. Then Stan is kidnapped. FOX

10:00 – Comic Book Men – “Junk” – A look at life in and around a New Jersey comic-book store begins with manager Walt challenging the staff to a sales competition at a flea market. Later, customers bring some interesting items into to the shop. AMC

12:15 – Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole – “Bram Stoker’s Loud Mouths!” - Victor launches an attack on vampires who talk too much at the movies. Adult Swim
