What’s Good on the TV – Sunday March 3rd, 2013

Vikings starts tonight! Hopefully it’s good. It’s also the season finale of Enlightened, watch that so it can get a Season 3.

8:00 – The Simpsons – “Gorgeous Grampa” – Homer uncovers a family secret and learns that Grampa was once known as “Gorgeous Godfrey,” the most feared and vilified wrestler on the pro circuit, but when Bart starts to emulate some of his grandfather’s villainous ways, it’s up to the old man to set the young man straight. FOX

9:00 – The Walking Dead – “Clear” - Since they are outgunned against the Governor’s forces, Rick undertakes a mission to get more weapons. AMC

9:30 – Bob’s Burgers – “O.T. the Outside Toilet” - Gene is flush with excitement when he discovers and befriends an expensive talking toilet, and when Louise and Tina become privy to his secret he recruits them to help hide his new buddy from a villainous toilet hunter. FOX

9:30 – Enlightened – “Agent of Change” - Amy has another meeting with Charles Szidon in the Season 2 finale, but this time the tone is decidedly less amicable after the Abaddonn CEO gets wind of her role in an upcoming exposé in the Los Angeles Times. HBO

10:00 – House of Lies – “The Runner Stumbles” - Marty uncovers evidence of a client’s role in a banking cover-up and wrestles with how to handle the situation, while Jeannie’s former boyfriend posts something alarming on the Web. Showtime

10:00 – Vikings – “Rites of Passage” - A Viking warrior seeks approval from his community’s leader in the opener of this series chronicling the medieval adventures of a band of Norsemen. History
