Tokyo Flash Makes Crazy Watches

I have to admit I like their designs, but I’ve never owned a watch that required an instruction manual and some practice in order for me to learn how to read it.  That’s exactly how the  Kisai Changing Lanes watch is, you’re lost without directions.  I included the background image for the the page where you can buy the watch because I feel like it is completely representative of how crazy the face is. Check below the cut for an explanation on how to actually read this thing.

Here is their text description

Hours are displayed on the left side of the interface, starting with 1:00 at the top, traveling down to 6:00 at the bottom. Change lanes and hours 7:00 to 12:00 travel from bottom to top.

Minutes are displayed on the right side of the interface in 3 minute intervals, from 3 at the top to 27 at the bottom and traveling back up to 57 minutes at the top. 15 and 45 minutes are centrally located as reference points – ideal for checking the approximate time. Two single minutes light up separately for precise timing.

The lights that show the current time flash for a short time after the button is pressed to make reading the time more simple.

One full charge takes 3.5 hours and each charge should last 1 month. There are 300 charges in one battery and the battery is easily replaceable.

I think getting the hang of reading that would take some time. You can purchase the watch for 15,900 yen, or $169.73 here.
