Sony has sent to production a pair of OLED VR goggles that will project a 720P 2D or 3D picture onto a simulated 750″ screen (yes, 750 inches). All by wearing the goggles in the above picture. They’re set to hit Japan this November, and if they do hit American shores are expected to retail for around $780.
When you think about it, $780 isn’t too bad for a 750″ picture. Then you realize it’s essentially a TV for only a single person, then it does seem a little pricey. But, possibly worthwhile.

Episode 13! That means we’re a quarter of a year into doing the show. And as you know, a quarter of a year is halfway to half a year, which is halfway to a year. A lot of halves of halves.
The site is now two years old! The show is only 9 weeks old; young, but wise. When you think about it, it’s kind of weird that something that’s two has a “child” that’s 9 weeks old.
So, I kind of forgot to post this when it was completely finished because of a super busy week. Episode 6 was recorded a couple days ago and I’m finding it hard to remember what went down in episode 5 all that well. As I usually say, you can find all of the videos as they are done on our vimeo account
I just realized for the last episode I said I would get all the segments up earlier than a week later. Well, how about two days later than a week later?! Yeah!!! Creating the Youtube versions of the last episode was what caused this to get edited later than usual. I really hope to have the next episode in full by the weekend. But, as I said last time, you can catch all the segments as they are uploaded on
Sony’s E3 press conference is going to start soon. We’re going to be tweeting along with it on
No creative title for the episode this week, because EVERY segment has it’s own creative title. Oh yeah, and it’s in segments instead of being one long video. Watch it below.
When i awoke this morning (yes, “awoke”) I had an e-mail from Hulu Plus about an account credit for not being able to use Hulu Plus via the Playstation network. I just needed to click a link to claim it and it credited me for a week worth of service. This is a GREAT idea by Hulu to get their customers to love them. I could have watched Hulu on my computer (even though I didn’t), and Hulu knows that. Kudos to them for this move.
Sony’s Playstation Network has been down for the past couple days, and there’s no information about when it could come back online. So far we know it wasn’t hacker group “Anonymous”, but we know nothing else. It’s not actually a clock issue, I was referring to the last prolonged and unplanned PSN outage.
