uncharted-2

Uncharted 2 is a PS3 exclusive game that releases October 13th.  Gamepro, i think it was Gamepro, said not only is it game of the year, it’s one of the best of all time.  Anyway, here is a 5+ minute clip of gameplay from Uncharted 2.

Zombieland starring Woody Harrelson looks really funny and is about killing zombies, so what’s there not to like? Check out the trailer below.

Video of the Week!! – Trine

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On August - 19 - 2009

trine-gameThe week after next a couple of pretty decent games are supposed to release.  One of them is speculative, but the other is a sure thing.  I’m talking about Trine(speculative) on the PS3 and Guitar Hero 5 (sure thing), which I think is releasing on every system.  I think Trine is cooler and it’s not made by Activision, so that’s going to be the featured video of the week.  Trine is a fantasy-set platformer where you play as a wizard, warrior, and thief, each with their own particularly set of skills.  It’s already out on the PC, but I prefer to play it on the PS3.  Expect a review of it soon after it releases.  Trailer after the cut.

ps3-slim

In another “wait on something Sony exclusive” post today, Sony has announced the coming of the PS3 Slim.  The 120 GB PS3 Slim will be released September 1st and will retail for $299.  The current 80 GB model just dropped down to $299, so now there is really no reason to buy that.  The new Slim’s will not be backward compatible, so don’t go throwing away your PS2 just yet.  It’s a nice matte finish that won’t show fingerprints (apparently the guy in the video thought the same thing). Check out the video of the unboxing below…

This Could Be Good, Maybe Not

little-big-planet

Another tidbit of Little Big Planet news.  Media Molecule has decided to add water into the game.  Prepare yourself for a shit-ton of water levels.  This could be a good test though, because if someone can make a good water level then maybe they deserve a job as a game designer.
