It’s a couple days late, but here are our feelings on Microsoft’s showing at the gaming industry’s biggest event.
I Build Things Up, Then I Break Them Down
The Never Not a Nerd Show – Episode 22
As you would expect we get even more radical in episode 22 than we did in episode 21. Watch all of the segments, because they are gooooood.
All of the segments from the next episode are already posted, and you can check those out on our vimeo page now.
While I’m at it, Follow us on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook. If you’d rather do the Youtube thing, subscribe to us on Youtube.

Brothers to THE END

Gears of War 3 is Epic’s, and one of Microsoft’s most successful franchises. From a fiscal standpoint, closing the book on the franchise is a terrible idea. But, maybe Cliff Bleszinski and the crew at Epic would rather focus on something new and different.
In Gears of War 3 you play as one of 8 playable characters, due to the addition of 4-player co-op. When you’re player one, you are Marcus Fenix (the main hulking bro), or Augustus Cole (the “WHOOO!” bro). You’re mostly Marcus, because this is his story.
New Game Day – Gears of War 3
There’s nothing of note this week that wants to try and compete with the big dog on the block. This is supposed to be the last game in the series. Anyone want to take bets on that actually happening? Check out the opening cinematic below.
R2D2 Loves Your Money
Why is all the cool R2D2 stuff so expensive? This is a sweet looking 360, and it even makes authentic R2D2 sounds, but it’s going to cost you $449. But wait, it comes with: a C3PO controller, 320gb HD, a Kinect, Star Wars Kinect, and Kinect Adventures. Does that make it worth the $449?
Well, when you consider that the 320gb HD Gears of War 3 bundle which comes with: the system, Gears of War 3(a game that people actually want), and two controllers is $399. And that the 250gb 360 with the Kinect is $399,then maybe that extra 70 gigs or upgrading to a Kinect is worth the $49
The R2D2 Xbox 360 bundle will be available this holiday season.

The Never Not a Nerd Show – Episode 5
So, I kind of forgot to post this when it was completely finished because of a super busy week. Episode 6 was recorded a couple days ago and I’m finding it hard to remember what went down in episode 5 all that well. As I usually say, you can find all of the videos as they are done on our vimeo account here.
Video of the Week!! – Forza Motorsport 4
Forza 4 isn’t coming out until October, but there are about 10 other games coming out that month and I sense the possibility of it getting lost in the AAA shuffle. It was definitely impressive at E3, so I wanted to take the time now to highlight how good this game looks. Check it out below.
Halo 4 – Debut Teaser
Well, it seems as though Microsoft is moving on with the Halo franchise sans Bungie. Check out the teaser for Halo 4 below.
Want New 360 D-Pad? $64.99 Please
A couple days ago Microsoft announced their upcoming revamped controller with a “transforming” d-pad, grayed buttons, and improved ergonomic design. The buzzkill is that it will only be available in a $64.99 play and charge kit. The release date is November 9th. Check below for the video reveal.
