Brian Wood is the writer behind the comics Demo, DMZ, & Northlanders; the three for which he is most known. I got a chance to talk to him after a Dark Horse comics panel at New York Comic Con, which he was part of to talk about two new books he’s working on with Dark Horse. Check that out below.

ULTIMATE Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 CG Trailer
ULTIMATE is completely capitalized because that’s what this game is, ULTIMATE. If they release any more versions with the next 8 months, then yes we should all be very pissed. Until then, I’m still excited for this game.
The Never Not a Nerd Show – Episode 14
Episode 14 is about a week later than it should have been. Sorry about that. I worked 103 hours in the past 2 weeks, so it was hard to find time to edit this. Anyway, here it is, enjoy!
I’m working on the segments from the next episode and you can check those out on our vimeo page when they’re done.

Uncanny X-Men Cover – Further Developments
So my speculation was wrong. That isn’t Juggernaut on the Uncanny X-Men cover, but Colossus with a Juggernaut helmet on, I’m confused. Anyway, joining Colossus and Emma Frost is Colossus’ sister Magik. Side note: It appears that Jubilee and Storm will be in the normal old X-Men.
ARC – Nerd Shirt of the Day
Ever wanted to feel like Tony Stark? Well, now you can. Just don’t go around being arrogant and being foggy about the relationship you have with your assistant. If you’d like to buy one of these head over here. Hurry though, time is limited.
The Never Not a Nerd Show – Episode 13
Episode 13! That means we’re a quarter of a year into doing the show. And as you know, a quarter of a year is halfway to half a year, which is halfway to a year. A lot of halves of halves.
Of course the microphone was an a-hole and the audio was bad for this episode, so we had to make do with the camera audio.
Enjoy the episode!

Avengers Assembled
I meant to post this a while ago. So, all those Avengers character posters Marvel was releasing? Yeah, they all fit together to create one mega-poster. Behold The Avengers franken-poster above!
Marvel (and some Capcom) Minimates
It’s been a while since I’ve shown the Minimates series some love, so here it is. The above photo is for the Future Foundation Minimates that were available at San Diego Comic Con. Those can be found on ebay now for around $30.
Check below for more.
Fantastic 4 #600 – Covers
On the recently recorded 13th episode of The Never Not a Nerd Show we talked about this teaser image above. I have some speculation that maybe Johnny Storm never even died. We didn’t see his dead body, he was just laying obscured in the background.
Then Marvel released the covers below.
