Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a squad-based third-person shooter developed by Slant 6 games and published by Capcom. It takes place in 1998, early on in the Resident Evil lore, and involves you playing as a member of an Umbrella team trying to cover up a T-virus outbreak. Is it worth your time? Check below to find out.

Fight Mashup Fiasco

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On March - 28 - 2012

If you’re a fan of Street Fighter first, then also Tekken, or just interested in using newer characters to the Street Fighter universe, then you were probably pretty excited for Street Fighter X Tekken. The game takes some of the most popular characters from both franchises and puts them all in a two-on-two fighting game. It’s like Tekken Tag that also features Street Fighter characters.

Video of the Week!! – Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On March - 5 - 2012

I just saw this for the first time, and I’m impressed. It was pretty damn entertaining. I think I’d watch a full length movie that looked like this. It’s better than the live action movies for sure.

I got a chance to play this game at NY Comic Con and it’s pretty fun. I’m looking forward to spending more time with it March 20th.

Video of the Week!! – Street Fighter X Tekken

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On February - 20 - 2012

I just watched this video, which is a trailer for the story mode in the game, and I still kind of don’t get what the hell Dan is talking about in it. I’m excited for this game, but it’s not because of this trailer. I got a chance to play it last year and it was pretty rad. Check out the video below.

ULTIMATE Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 CG Trailer

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On September - 19 - 2011

ULTIMATE is completely capitalized because that’s what this game is, ULTIMATE. If they release any more versions with the next 8 months, then yes we should all be very pissed. Until then, I’m still excited for this game.

Street Fighter X Tekken – GamesCom 2011

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On August - 25 - 2011

I’ve expressed my excitement for this game in the past. While I’m still excited for it I’m a little more weary of it now. It looks like the combo chains are ridiculous and one of the bear’s special moves is farting in your face. Yeah, let that one sink in.

Check out the clips below.

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On August - 14 - 2011

It’s been a while since I’ve shown the Minimates series some love, so here it is. The above photo is for the Future Foundation Minimates that were available at San Diego Comic Con. Those can be found on ebay now for around $30.

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On July - 28 - 2011

Here we are with episode 10! That’s a mini-milestone right? I’m hoping to someday add a zero or two to that count. Well, two zeroes would be a looong time.

I’m currently working on the segments from the episode we just recorded, and some will be up tomorrow. Check those out on our vimeo page.

The Fate of Two Worlds

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On July - 28 - 2011

Is in another castle…haha, I kill me. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has been on my board of things to review for a long time, and while I have played enough of it, I just never got around to writing a review for it. That’s kind of void now anyway. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a great game, but as of last week it’s not much more than a glorified demo. If you don’t have it yet and you can’t wait until November, you can pick it up for less than $35 new, but you’re probably better off renting it and getting your fix over a weekend.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 November 15th.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On July - 20 - 2011

On the show we recorded just a couple days ago we touched on this and whether we wanted it, which we both said we did.

Well, it’s real, and it’s coming out November of this year for $39.99 with 12 new characters and 8 new stages.

So far the announced new fighters are Strider and Firebrand for Capcom; Ghost Rider(I just want to quickly mention how I knew he’d end up in the game because he’s in Dante’s ending) and Hawkeye for Marvel. We’ll hear about the rest as the year goes on. It doesn’t say anywhere, but I’m really curious whether they’re counting Jill from Resident Evil and Shuma Gorath, both downloadable characters, as part of the 12, or if there’s going to be 12 on top of them.

On top of the new characters, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will also have the much asked for spectator mode.

Check below for some videos.
