While I greatly prefer Skyrim, Fallout’s still cool.
If you’d like to buy one of these head over here. It’s only available for a limited time.
Busy day, I’ll be back later this afternoon.

Along with the Kinect support patch, Bethesda released some very minor information on the first DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It will be called Dawnguard, and it will be out sometime this summer. More details are scheduled to come out during E3, but there’s some strong suspicion (because of leaked files) that the DLC will contain Snow Elves and crossbows. We’ll find out during E3.
Today is/was the day. Skyrim has been released, and now a whole group of people are being lost to loved ones. Check out the awesome live action trailer below.
Rage is an original first-person shooter that comes from the people that created Quake and Doom. It looks rad, and I’m really excited to try it when it comes out October 4th. Check out the launch trailer below.
Bethesda as developers have recently only worked on Elder Scrolls and Fallout games (excluding Fallout: New Vegas). A lot of the games that have come from them recently have been published by Bethesda, but were developed by other studios. Like Brink for example.
Well, a lot of people didn’t like Brink, but Bethesda Softworks has some exciting looking stuff coming out this year and beyond.
Since I probably won’t end up playing Brink anytime soon (I will try it for year-end list purposes) I’ve decided to gather some video reviews from sites/shows I like and respect so our readers can see what Brink is all about. Check out the reviews below.
Brink is a brand new first-person shooter IP that comes out tomorrow, May 10th. The best thing this game has going for it is the gameplay style. It looks like Mirror’s Edge if you were supposed to also be shooting people in that game (I know you could, but it wasn’t the objective). It has a single-player campaign and multi-player, and you can apparently play the single-player against real people. I just hope it doesn’t end up being like Shadowrun where it’s just multi-player the whole time, but if you’re not online you’re basically playing the same thing as you would online with bots. Check out the launch trailer and a video on the in-game classes below.

This game comes out December 1st. It’s on my Gamefly queue, but I’m honestly not that excited about it (there’s just really nothing else next week). It looks decent, but I don’t have high hopes for it. I’m pretty sure it’s based on a book by a guy who went through what the story is about and Mickey Rourke voices the main character, so those are cool. Check out the non-gameplay trailer below.
Wet was one of the few games dropped by Activision when they acquired the rights to Vivendi. Then it was floating around homeless for a while. Recently, Bethesda Softworks picked it up and will be releasing it for the PS3 and 360 September 15th.
