The “etc.” is in the title because this is the first week where there might be three movies worth seeing. Well, I think the two in the picture above will be good, the other one I’m not so sure about.
Get Him to the Greek
Most of what you need to know about this is on the poster, “Aaron Green has 72 hours to get a Rock Star from London to L.A.”. Oh yeah, the character Russell Brand plays, Aldous Snow, is the same rock star from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If you saw the first five minutes and the red band trailer I posted yesterday shouldn’t that be enough incentive to see this?
Splice
Splice is the story of a pair of scientists that are great at creating animal hybrids. When they add human DNA to one of their experiments things get start to get crazy. There are a good amount of videos for this movie floating around here.
Killers
In Killers, after recently being married, Heigl’s character discovers that Kutcher’s character is an international spy. Hilarity ensues? If you were wondering to yourself, yes, the plot sounds like a rip-off of True Lies to everyone else too.
Pick of the Week : Go see Get Him to the Greek. It seems very funny and has been very well liked so far. Russell Brand’s character Aldous Snow was one of the best parts of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and now he has his own movie.
