Strong Punch to the Cineplexus – The A-Team & The Karate Kid

Here are two movies that were shown at midnight releases a lot of places, but officially start today. Read on to see why you should check them out.

The A-Team

I think this movie looks ridiculous in a fun way. It’s not going to be nominated for any Oscars, but it’s probably a fun two hours. However, if anyone gets shot and killed than it’s not the real A-Team and therefore as a remake it’d be a failure.

The Karate Kid

This is a very beloved 80′s franchise and I truly believe they stepped it up in this reboot by setting it in China. I’ve said it before, but it should be called Kung-Fu Kid. Other than that this should be an entertaining family-friendly movie. I’m sure martial arts instructors are really excited about this movie’s release.

If you have to pick one go see The A-Team. This week was actually in alphabetical order, but the first movie still ended up being the pick. A-Team just looks like one of those movies where there’s not a single boring moment. Whether you’re laughing at Sharlto Copley, laughing at Rampage Jackson trying to act, or just watching an explosion birthing another explosion, it seems like it’d be a good time.
