The news broke sometime in the past week or two that Netflix was making its way to the PS3. The only downside is that instead of using an application to watch streaming content like you can on the 360, Netflix members with a PS3 have to request a disc that needs to be in the tray whenever they’re using the Netflix service.
I requested a disc earlier last week and was told it would ship sometime later in the year. The wait for the disc seems to be over (at least for some) as I received an email from Netflix earlier today saying the disc was shipped and should arrive tomorrow.
