Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In case you weren’t sure what company was responsible for S.H.I.E.L.D. Marvel wants to make sure you know it’s them.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. brings back the suddenly not dead Agent Phil Coulson(Clark Gregg) to lead a team of agents against “the unknown forces of the universe”. Hopefully it’s fun. I think this show would kill if throughout its run it featured cameos from the actors that play the Avengers in the movies, but I kind of doubt the likelihood of that happening. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs tonight on ABC at 8PM.
Also premiering tonight on ABC are a couple of new sitcoms. The first is The Goldbergs, which is about a family in the 80’s. I’ve seen the episode and it’s pretty funny, but it was one of those pilots where they took all the promos from that one episode, so if you’ve seen the promos you’ll feel like you’ve seen the episode. It airs at 9PM.
Following that at 9:30PM on ABC is Trophy Wife. A story about an older man’s younger third wife dealing with her new life and step-motherhood. I’ve heard good things.
Ending ABC‘s nightly offerings is Lucky 7, a show about a group of gas station employees that win the lottery together. Lucky 7 airs at 10PM.
Not premiering tonight, but returning with new episodes are:
Brooklyn Nine-Nine on FOX at 8:30PM.
New Girl on FOX at 9PM.
Tosh.O on Comedy Central at 10PM.
