It’s Galactus Time, Apparently

Be sure to mark your calendars because April is set to be Galactus time.  Meaning it’s time for someone, somewhere (seemingly from these recent ads, Leonardo da Vinci) to save some lives from that hungry, hungry man they call Galactus.  How hungry is he?  Well, he’s so hungry he could eat a planet.  Probably yours.  Nah, I’m just kidding.  It’s definitely yours.

Galactus is a pretty awesome villain, though.  A giant guy in purple armor that eats planets because HE’S JUST GOTTA.  Sure, he hasn’t eaten Earth yet, as that would hinder Marvel’s ability to tell stories, but he sure has tried his damnedest.  Now, I hate love to speculate here, but it seems the image has the skull of the Silver Surfer and a couple of Infinity Gems on top of that Galactus sketch.  And what with the wooden planks everywhere, I’m assuming it takes place on a ship somewhere.  Likely not a spaceship, as they are rarely made of wood.  But whatever this is, it likely relates to the recent Marvel statement that they were entering a new “Age of Heroes” or whatever.  Hell, what’s more heroic than everyone getting back together to fight good old Galacty?  It’ll be like a reunion special, only instead of finally seeing each other again after years apart, everyone finally decides to stop hating each other.  Seriously, it’s like the Marvel Universe is fueled by characters hating each other.  It’s like the internet.

So let’s review.  Galactus making a return most likely, meaning Reed Richards will need to fire up that old Ultimate Nullifier and go hunting giants Elmer Fudd style.  Or maybe something else will happen.  Maybe Galactus is the Red Hulk.  Who knows?  All I care about is seeing a bunch of superheroes fight a giant, hungry man in purple armor.  Because that, my friends, is what they refer to as “good stuff.”

Does infinity gems = Thanos? Or perhaps there is something to do with Galactus i.e the reincarnation da vinci drawing shows something about the apocalypse or apokalypse?
