This is, as far as I know, the first bit of visual we’re getting that has anything to do with Iron Man 3 (well, no, there is this set photo). Rumor has it that Iron Man 3 will involve Tony Stark utilizing the Extremis armor from the arc written by Warren Ellis that the other movies have already borrowed from. It’d be an interesting shift for the character and should make for a much darker tone than the previous film.
