So far I have all eight rings that they’ve released for Blackest Night. I look forward to getting a hold of the ninth ring they’ll pretty much have to release with their following event, Brightest Day. If you’ve looked up anything on the internet regarding fan opinion on Blackest Night, you know that people have been anticipating a reveal of a White Lantern pretty much since the beginning. I’m going to need to get that ring. An incomplete collection will not suffice. It just won’t.
The problem I’m finding with this is that, more likely than not, Hal Jordan is going to be revealed as the White Lantern. And the switch from green to white is only reminding me of one thing:
And I can’t get it out of my head.
I’d say the most likely scenario will be that a number of heroes/villains will be resurrected by the end of Blackest Night. All those zombies, you can’t think there won’t be a few sticking around. You know, only less decomposed and stinky. I just hope the characters we get back will be worth it. I’m not sure having Vibe make a triumphant return will be a praised maneuver on DC’s part. Still, I look forward to finding out what happens, as well as picking up a white plastic ring along with one of my comics.
