8:00 – Frozen Planet – “On Thin Ice” – The impact of rising temperatures on the poles’ inhabitants and the planet as a whole are discussed. Discovery 

9:00 – Game of Thrones – “Garden of Bones” - Tyrion steps in when Joffrey holds Sansa accountable for Robb Stark’s recent decisive victory on the battlefield, though the ill-tempered king finds another target for his cruelty.  HBO

9:00 – The Killing – “Ghosts of the Past” - Sarah receives a message from the dead that may shed light on the identity of Rosie’s killer. AMC 

10:00 – Mad Men – “Far Away Places” - Peggy has a tough time during a particularly formidable pitch; Don calls on a potential client. AMC

10:00 – The Borgias -“The Beautiful Deception” - Alexander tells a grief-stricken Lucrezia that, because Paolo committed suicide, he cannot be given a Christian burial, so she refuses to eat or feed her baby in protest. Showtime 

10:00 – Veep – “Fundraiser” - In the premiere of this comedy following the public and private lives of U.S. vice president Selina Meyer and her staff, the office goes into damage-control mode to deal with a pair of gaffes that could tarnish her already suspect reputation. HBO
