Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – Impressed at E3
E3 is over, but maybe you didn’t see all of the goodness that came out of it. I’m going to go over a bunch of games that I saw new stuff for and was impressed by.
I’m going to begin with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. This seems like one of those polarizing games where you either love it or you hate it. I’m going to go ahead and assume that the people that hate it prefer run and guns like Call of Duty to some of the more tactical shooters.
I forget if this was shown first during Microsoft’s press conference, or later on in the day during Ubisoft’s, but this cinematic trailer highlights the cooperative nature of the game and some of the tech you’ll get to play with.
What I’m sure was during Microsoft’s press conference was the unveiling of the Kinect interactivity within Future Soldier. I’ll admit, it’s a bit gimmicky, because we COULD do this with a controller, but who doesn’t like the idea of controlling it with your voice?
Before you watch the next video I have to apologize for this “Mr. Caffeine” asshole and his mispronunciation of “Clancy”. There is two minutes of video that I recommend you skip at the beginning, then there’s about seven minutes and 45 seconds of gameplay.
