It’s a really good thing Valve Limited Left 4 Dead & Left 4 Dead 2 to 4-player co-op. Check out this video of a PC mod allowing 16 players to play simultaneously as survivors. The character the camera is following barely does anything. I think they get to melee one zombie before they get to the safe house.
