Movies :
Alice in Wonderland - Tim Burton’s take on the classic story. Available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
The Wolfman - A man gets bitten by and becomes a werewolf. I think the title describes most of what you need to know anyway. Available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
The Man With No Name Trilogy - I want to wholeheartedly recommend this Blu-Ray transfer of the classic trilogy, but since The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is only $12.50 on Blu-Ray and the transfers of A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are supposedly just decent, I’m not entirely sure about this one. It is the first time A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are on Blu-Ray though.
Undisputed III: Redemption - One of the ridiculous action movies that was shown at this year’s ActionFest. Available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
The Stranger - A straight to disc action movie starring Steve Austin(not the six million dollar man). I’m sure it will suit your need for explosions and action. Available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
TV :
Life - Here’s the deal, you can get this great nature documentary narrated by either David Attenborough(who has been narrating specials like this for FOREVER) or Oprah(a first-timer). If you saw it on the Discovery Channel in America you saw it narrated by Oprah. If you want to actually learn anything while watching it you won’t buy that one. Available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Volume 7 – The complete seventh season of the craziest show on television that features a talking fast food combo meal. Available on DVD.
Nitro Circus : Season 2 - These guys(and gal) do crazy stunts so you don’t have to die trying, or keep wondering what it’d be like if someone did that. It’s easily one of the most entertaining reality shows on television. Available on DVD.
American Pickers: The Complete Season One - The best show on television about guys picking through ‘garbage’(check out our review by clicking on the title). I kind of feel like this should be followed by “Hoarders” in order to deter people from trying this themselves though. Available on DVD.
Burn Notice: Season Three - I’ve never seen this show, but from what I’ve heard I feel like I’m missing out. Available on DVD.
