It’s the Clock Issue All Over Again

Sony’s Playstation Network has been down for the past couple days, and there’s no information about when it could come back online. So far we know it wasn’t hacker group “Anonymous”, but we know nothing else. It’s not actually a clock issue, I was referring to the last prolonged and unplanned PSN outage.
Come on Sony, enough is enough! We don’t care why the outage is taking this long, just the fact that it’s STILL out. With the release of Portal 2, Mortal Kombat and SOCOM 4, this is a terrible week for a PSN outage. I also feel bad for the people who have Netflix or Hulu and can only access it through their PS3′s

You know, the “your mom’s going to hate it” ads? Well, Fox just did that for Bulletstorm FOR FREE! You can read the disgustingly wrong Fox News article here. They basically want to burn any and all video games that contain violence. After that Fox article disgusts you, read G4′s Stephen Johnson’s article about how basically everything their ‘experts’ said weren’t true here.
Regardless of what Fox News thinks, this is some great free promotion for Bulletstorm. “Your mom is going to hate it” makes it sound like kids should think it’s cool. “Fox News hates it” makes it sound like something worth a shot. I hope they make an ad parodying those Dead Space 2 ads now.

Activision announced earlier that the Guitar and DJ Hero franchises are to be laid to rest. They join their sibling Band Hero, which was D.O.A. I’ll be honest, I’m sad there won’t be any more DJ Hero. Guitar Hero has been dead to me since part 3. They did however go on to mention that they will still support the existing games with DLC, so if you’re jamming on DJ Hero 2 or were foolish enough to buy Warriors of Rock you have that to look forward to.

It’s been like a Dead Space 2 media blitz around here lately. They’re not paying me, I swear. I’m just trying to get this stuff out while it’s relevant.
The other day I saw an ad on TV of a bunch of moms watching clips from Dead Space 2 and saying what they thought about it(above). They don’t like it(surprise, surprise). This game is rated M though, so you shouldn’t be paying TOO much attention to your mother’s opinions of the type of entertainment you enjoy if you’re old enough to play this game.
