Earlier, live on G4, X-Play showed an “exclusive” new Arkham City trailer. I guess it wasn’t exclusive for long, because it surfaced on Gamespot. Check it out below.

Damn You Jersey Shore
This is what happens America! This is what happens when you make a shitty cable show the highest rated thing on television! You confuse the poor Canadians up at Bioware into thinking they should model one of their new characters after someone that many of you would recognize. On the left is James Vega, a newly announced character from Mass Effect 3; on the right is Ronnie, resident d-bag from the Jersey Shore. We should all be ashamed of ourselves. This character needs to be focused on saving the galaxy, not tanning and his abs.
Before I hit “publish” I realized the Mass Effect character has a neck tattoo, so he’s obviously hard core.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
On the show we recorded just a couple days ago we touched on this and whether we wanted it, which we both said we did.
Well, it’s real, and it’s coming out November of this year for $39.99 with 12 new characters and 8 new stages.
So far the announced new fighters are Strider and Firebrand for Capcom; Ghost Rider(I just want to quickly mention how I knew he’d end up in the game because he’s in Dante’s ending) and Hawkeye for Marvel. We’ll hear about the rest as the year goes on. It doesn’t say anywhere, but I’m really curious whether they’re counting Jill from Resident Evil and Shuma Gorath, both downloadable characters, as part of the 12, or if there’s going to be 12 on top of them.
On top of the new characters, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will also have the much asked for spectator mode.

Bethesda Softworks – Impressed at E3
Bethesda as developers have recently only worked on Elder Scrolls and Fallout games (excluding Fallout: New Vegas). A lot of the games that have come from them recently have been published by Bethesda, but were developed by other studios. Like Brink for example.
Well, a lot of people didn’t like Brink, but Bethesda Softworks has some exciting looking stuff coming out this year and beyond.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – Impressed at E3
E3 is over, but maybe you didn’t see all of the goodness that came out of it. I’m going to go over a bunch of games that I saw new stuff for and was impressed by.
I’m going to begin with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. This seems like one of those polarizing games where you either love it or you hate it. I’m going to go ahead and assume that the people that hate it prefer run and guns like Call of Duty to some of the more tactical shooters.
Wii U – All The Big Stuff
Below are a few videos and commentary on all the big things they showed about the Wii U. Such as: The specs of the controller, the first trailer for the controller/system(it’s in the beginning to the right of the TV), what some third-party developers think of the new hardware, and finally some clips of third party titles that will end up on the console.

On the….
Brink is a brand new first-person shooter IP that comes out tomorrow, May 10th. The best thing this game has going for it is the gameplay style. It looks like Mirror’s Edge if you were supposed to also be shooting people in that game (I know you could, but it wasn’t the objective). It has a single-player campaign and multi-player, and you can apparently play the single-player against real people. I just hope it doesn’t end up being like Shadowrun where it’s just multi-player the whole time, but if you’re not online you’re basically playing the same thing as you would online with bots. Check out the launch trailer and a video on the in-game classes below.
