Who knows how long it will actually live, or whether it will be worth it’s somewhat large(rumored) price tag of $150, but Natal’s new name has been made official and it is Kinect. It will be available this coming November and a list of the games under development is under the cut.
ESPN Coming to Xbox Live

Finishing up the 360 news before we get to the EA, ESPN on-demand is coming to the Xbox 360 soon. From what I understand you’ll be able to watch live games as well as games that already took place(hence on-demand). The sports included, that they mentioned, are college football, college basketball, soccer, and the NBA. They definitely didn’t mention American football or hockey, and I’m pretty sure no baseball. MLB TV is on PS3. Best part – it will be included in a gold subscription.

The ‘New’ Xbox 360

This is the new Xbox 360. It has built in Wifi(supports wireless N)and a 250 gig Hard drive. It shipped to retailers today and should be available sometime this week. It will cost $299.

The Rock Band 3 Keyboard in Action

The first(as far as I know) footage of the new Rock Band 3 keyboard(they say it’s a prototype) in action went up on USA Today’s website sometime yesterday. There’s also a lot of information about the changes being made to the game in the video. Check that and a partial set-list out under the cut.
Even if it is a prototype, you can still see the way the keyboard will play on-screen
Did Everyone See This Mortal Kombat Thing?

I’m serious, has everyone seen this? Because everyone should. All of a sudden it just appeared online, and no one is sure if it’s a trailer for a new movie, or a reboot to the MK franchise, or what, but it looks RIDICULOUS. I mean, I watched this and immediately questioned why I wasn’t watching a full-length film of this right now. Just check this out on the next page and tell me what you think. Damn dudes.
Activision Introduces More Guitar Hero Peripherals

As the title states Activision/Neversoft have once again reworked the design of the Guitar Hero controller. Now gone are the days of customizable face-plates. Say hello to the days of customizable ‘wings’.
