Our movie podcast was posted Sunday, and after that I felt a little dirty about calling it “The Best Movies of 2012″. Are these really the best games of 2012? Build Your Fortune in the Virtual World
Guild Wars 2 came out Tuesday (or at 12:01AM midnight Saturday if you’re hardcore). A couple days before that they released this infographic created by an economist about the Guild Wars 2 economy/ economic system. It shed some light on how to make money within the game and what isn’t going to make you much. Like how chests and found gold is the lowest of the low, and questing isn’t going to make you in-game rich. But crafting and crafting materials can make you very rich. Jewelers tend to make much more than other in-game professions.
Anyway, feel free to click on the graph above to enlarge it and see for yourself.

More Deaths Than The Descent
Spelunky is a DAMN good game. It’s hard, sure, but when you succeed at anything within it it is extremely satisfying. Plus, a lot of your deaths(and there will be a LOT of deaths) just end up being humorous. Unless it’s frustrating, they can be frustrating. This game requires patience, but it will reward that with hours of fun.

Quantum Conundrum is a great game. It’s an Airtight Games/Square Enix first-person puzzle game designed by Kim Swift (one of the designers of the first Portal). Check out our video review below.

Portal 2 LEGOs with CUUSOO
Did you guys know you can support sort of homemade LEGO sets being made available to the public through LEGO’s CUUSOO service? The set that I’m suggesting you support is a Portal 2 LEGO set. You can check out some images of it and elect to support it here. It’s really quite awesome, so even if you’re not willing to support it if you like LEGOs or Portal check it out.
