Party Time With a Little Help From My Friends

I was really busy for the past few weeks, so I’m going to do some catching up.
In the 6th episode of Alphas, “Bill and Gary’s Excellent Adventure”, Bill and Gary team up to help solve a kidnapping case in order to help Bill get back into the FBI. It’s a non alpha Alphas case as Bill eventually gets the whole gang in on the fun.
Every Adversary Dies Gloriously

Sunday night at midnight the rock mockumentary “From the Ladle to the Grave” aired on Adult Swim. It is the tale of Hank Venture and Dermott Fictel’s rock band Shallow Gravy. The mini-episode tells their story from their formation, losing their drummer (Spinal Tap anyone?), gaining their drummer back, and their “hit” single “Jacket” .
It has a lot of funny references to the past season of The Venture Bros. , so if you haven’t seen that get to catching up, then watch this. Oh yeah, you should watch this, it’s awesome. Check out the music video for “Jacket” below.

In this past Monday’s Alphas the team is tasked with stopping a terrorist plot by a group of anti-human Alphas called “Red Flag”. That’s really it, there’s not too much background, and it kind of just dives right in. It’s all very Professor X vs. Magneto.

In the third episode of SyFy’s Alphas, titled Anger Management, Dr Rosen and co. are tracking a mysterious person who has the ability to make everyone around them angry and incite riots. After a riot on a subway car that results in the death of 5 people the team is on the hunt for the person that caused it, and the majority of the rest of the episode involves them trying to figure out who that person is, as well as apprehend them. There’s also a lot of personal drama for the characters.
