Batgirl Bishoujo Statue

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On December - 5 - 2011

This statue is amazing. It’s a sequel of sorts. The original released had Batgirl wearing a gray costume with a blue cape. This color scheme matches the costume she is currently wearing in the Batgirl series. If you’d like to buy one of these head over here.

Huck Gee’s Custom Showcase

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On November - 11 - 2011

Huck Gee, one of Kidrobot’s golden boys, has made a bunch of customs for a showcase; and I have to admit, most of them are great. They’re crazy expensive(the figure pictured above is $2,000), but they’re great. If you’re really rich, or a poor Huck Gee fan(like me) and want to torture yourself, you can check the gallery out here.

Android Calaveroid

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On November - 9 - 2011

This figure, by The Beast Brothers, just became available again and is very very cool. I plan on picking one up pretty soon, and you can do the same here. That’s really it. It’s awesome, and you should get one.

Spider-Man Maximum Carnage Mini Muggs

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On November - 2 - 2011

I’m a big fan of Mighty Muggs. Hasbro apparently, is not. They’ve pretty much done away with the series except for special edition Comic Con releases. At last months New York Comic Con Hasbro released this awesome Spider-Man Maximum Carnage set. I had to pick one up for myself. The only problem I have with this is more of a personal one. Why is the price if you buy it after the Con $30? I paid $33. Why did I have to pay the shipping cost if I got it from the source?

If you’d like to buy one of these head over here.

The Anime-izing of an American Sci-Fi Character

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 27 - 2011

Well, North American at least. Liara T’Soni is one of the possible love interests in the first Mass Effect and comes back in the second as a supporting character (later as a party character in DLC). She doesn’t really look like her Kotobukiya statue that’s pictured above in game (check out a picture of that below), and that is unfortunate. Her face looks somehow more pointed from the design sketch, but at least they toned down the bust a little bit.

Kidrobot’s Staple Design Pigeon

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 27 - 2011

It’s been a while since I’ve shown any toy or Kidrobot love (more toy love later), so it’s about time that I did. On November 3rd Kidrobot will be releasing their Staple design pigeon figure that stands 7″ tall for $75. I don’t think this is for me, but hey, maybe you dig it. If you’d like one you can find it here on release day. You’re going to want to be quick, there’s only 800 available.

Gold Life Dunny Series

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On August - 25 - 2011

I am quite a Kidrobot and Dunny fan, but I don’t have any Huck Gee’s. I’m going to have to change that very soon as Kidrobot is releasing a 14 piece Dunny series all done by Huck Gee. They’re all Japanese inspired and awesome. The series releases September 1st at $9.95 per blind box. I might have to buy a case of these.

Along with this set on September 1st Kidrobot is also releasing a limited 2-pack of Huck Gee figures for $29.95.

Check below for some images of the Gold Life series. You can head to Kidrobot’s blog Kronikle for more info.

René London Dunny

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On August - 7 - 2011

This is a design by Triclops and I am a HUGE fan of it. It’s an 8-inch Dunny that will be available August 18th for $75 on kidrobot.com and in the Kidrobot stores. There’s only going to be 1,000 available worldwide (terrible idea), so be ready that morning to snag yourself one.
