Mastodon’s album The Hunter is quite amazing. “Dry Bone Valley” is the latest single off of The Hunter and the video is pretty trippy.

I loved Zola Jesus’ 2010 EP. Last year both her and David Lynch put out full-length albums. I preferred Lynch’s. He again proves his skill by taking the Zola Jesus song “In Your Nature” and re-working it to be more of a David Lynch song featuring Zola Jesus. Kind of like if she did a track for Unkle. Check it out below.
As I’ve been doing every January I have to post about the line-up for this years Coachella. Unlike previous years, this years festival will be held over the course of two weekends, instead of the standard one. That’s probably how they were able to make it so stacked. Plus, the return of At the Drive-In! And Refused!
This is Childish Gambino’s new album Camp’s “Freaks and Geeks” . He goes at it pretty hard, and throws in a fair amount of hash tags at the end of his lines. I don’t mind because, oddly, it works for him.
You’re my favorite rapper now. Yeah dude I better beeee, or you can f**king kick my ass, Human Centipede

I guess I do Music Monday once a month now.
Florence + the Machine’s newest album “Ceremonials” came out recently, and this, “No Light , No Light” will be the second single off it early next year. I really like this song, and having heard a lot of the album can confidently say the producer has a rager for harps and choirs.
This video is pretty messed up man. I guess the moral of this video is that smoking in movies really does adversely affect kids. Also, kids shouldn’t watch Johnny Depp movies. Check out the video for “Piranhas Club” below.
Leave it to me to review an album by a band who already has a newer album out. Colour Trip was Ringo Deathstarr’s debut album, so by the time it was released they must have already been recording a new one. Way to not let your stuff get stale and further you’re catalog. So right there is something I like about this band. (The ‘newer’ album is a collection of older content, so forget everything I just said. I’m way too crazy from the lack of electricity to start over right now.) Let’s get in to the album, shall we? (don’t expect a lengthy dissertation)
Beavis & Butthead came back last week, and I have to thank Mike Judge for this week’s Music Video of the Week. I like MGMT, but I’d never seen the video for “Kids” until last week’s episode of Beavis & Butthead. He’s totally right, the kid in this video is probably traumatized for life now.

St Vincent’s Annie Clark shreds live. I’ll be completely honest, I haven’t even heard the album these songs are from yet, but I really dig them live. Check out the set below.
Yesterday The Black Keys digitally released the first single from their forthcoming album El Camino that’s releasing December 6th. The song is called “Lonely Boy”, it rocks, and the video is awesome. Check it out below.
If you’d like to buy the physical version of the single then that will be available November 25th, come with a second track(on the cover), and will look like the image above.
