Marvel’s phase two is beginning this coming May with the Shane Black written Iron Man 3. It seems to be fairly dark in tone, and it looks pretty awesome. Check out a trailer below.

Sony released the full trailer for the new Total Recall this past weekend as promised. I want to hate this movie, because I’m a big fan of the original, but it looks pretty fun. Let’s just hope Jessica Biel is in very little of it. Check out the trailer below.

Sound of My Voice

I just watched the first 12 minutes of Sound of My Voice. I’m kind of confused. It seems like a cult film, then it gets even weirder. I have to give them credit for the marketing campaign. Wow, this movie looks, very, fun? I’m assuming it’s going to be a bad movie, but that it’ll be very fun to watch. It looks ridiculous. This is Timur Bekmambetov’s first foray into 3D and I’m interested to see what he’ll do with it. Check out the trailer below.

Matt Damon is taking a break from the franchise, and Jeremy Renner is stepping in to fill his shoes for the time being. This movie also has a lot of the series regulars, including David Strathairn and Joan Allen. Judging from the trailer I’m pretty excited to see this when it comes out August 3rd. God Bless America – Trailer Time

I really loved Bobcat Goldthwait’s 2009 film World’s Greatest Dad. It was one of the best dark comedies in recent years. I’m hoping God Bless America can follow it well. I’ll admit it does look a little too much like Super to me (Middle aged guy who’s had enough picks up a young sidekick), but I’m still excited to see it.
