When I first saw this trailer I thought it was the remake of Logan’s Run I’ve been hearing about. It seems like it’s the same sort of idea only modernized. But, it turns out it’s a completely different movie. By the way, I really hope they do Logan’s Run justice in that remake. But, is there room for both that and In Time to exist? I guess we’ll find out. Check out the trailer for In Time below.
Holy shit! I’m sorry, but holy shit! I hope hope HOPE the trailer for this is an indication of how good the actual movie is. I am so excited to see this. Check out the trailer below.
It’s episode 12, and, oh, you guessed it. We’re going to be talking about TV, video games, tech, comics, and movies.

Don’t get too confused by the inclusion of “the visionary director of Wanted” in this trailer. It’s presented (produced) by him. It was directed by Chris Gorak, who has been the art director on some awesome movies, but I’ve never seen the other film he directed (Right At Your Door).
I’m not sure if I can get behind this film. The antagonists just seem so, I don’t know, invisible? It’s also much too reliant on effects.
Hey, episode 11. Due to missing persons and technical difficulties (there’s always technical difficulties) we had to record a couple days later than usual this week, but here is episode 11 for your viewing pleasure!
Most of the segments from this week’s episode are already up. Check those out on our vimeo page.

In the second episode of Film Wrapper I talked about Rubber, 13 Assassins, & Hobo With a Shotgun. Check out the video to see which ones are worth your time. Hint: one of them was one of my favorite movies so far this year.
I grew up in a house where action films were king. Where Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Bruce Lee, and Chuck Norris were usually the heroes. Assassination Games features a return to form for one of those heroes.
In Assassination Games Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a contract killer (Brazil), and a very good one. Scott Adkins plays Flint, a trained killer that did some work for Interpol who is in hiding with his comatose wife.
Interpol has been under some heat and needs to flush out Flint to both silence him and get back money they lost when a deal Flint was involved with went bad. In order to do this they release, and put a hit out on, the criminal responsible for Flint’s wife’s condition to bait him. This man, Polo, and his crew gang-raped and beat Flint’s wife into a coma while making him watch. So, needless to say he has some personal interest in dispatching Polo.
Meanwhile Van Damme is hired by the “anonymous client” to take out Polo. The two cross paths and are forced to choose between working together or continuing to get in each other’s way.
Captain America came out last week and the whole “Never Not a Nerd team” saw it. I did a review with Abdul and a review with Rick, then combined them into one. Watch it below to find out if you need to see Captain America.
