I took the time out of my busy life to see Puss in Boots this past week, and it was better than expected. Watch the review to find out why.

Cat People are Crazy
Was Shakespeare a Fraud?
Anonymous is the story of “the truth” about who really wrote the works of William Shakespeare.
The film starts out as a stage play telling the tale of Ben Johnson, a theater owner and playwright that is entrusted with the works of the Earl of Oxford, Edward De Vere, and asked to put the plays on as his own works. Johnson puts on the first of the plays, and the crowd loves it so much that they call for the writer to take a bow. Due to Johnson’s reluctance, and being in the right place at the right time, William Shakespeare, an actor, steps out on the stage to claim credit for writing it.
There’s a lot more to it than just Shakespeare possibly stealing someone else’s work. It deals heavily with the privileged, yet tortured, life of Edward De Veer, his love for Queen Elizabeth, and very heavily with his conflicts with his wife’s brother and father, Robert and William Cecil.
Occupy New Greenwich
Rick and I saw the movie In Time, so we recorded a video review of it. Check that out below.
Oh yeah, the camera had an issue, so we could only use the audio with pictures. Sorry about that.
“That Poster’s One Step Above Gay Porn”
I saw The Three Musketeers, starring Logan Lerman and Milla Jovovich, in 3D a couple weeks ago. Watch this to see if you should spend some of your valuable time and money seeing it yourself.
The title of this is in reference to something Rick (NNAN Show co-host) said about the poster for this after seeing it outside of a movie theater.
Do You Understand?
Hey, I saw Drive starring Ryan Gosling last weekend. Watch the video to find out if you need to see it.
If I could add a couple things they would be that this might make driving gloves cool again (ever?), and that I thought it was shot really well.

You Win Or You Die
I grew up in a house where action films were king. Where Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, Bruce Lee, and Chuck Norris were usually the heroes. Assassination Games features a return to form for one of those heroes.
In Assassination Games Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a contract killer (Brazil), and a very good one. Scott Adkins plays Flint, a trained killer that did some work for Interpol who is in hiding with his comatose wife.
Interpol has been under some heat and needs to flush out Flint to both silence him and get back money they lost when a deal Flint was involved with went bad. In order to do this they release, and put a hit out on, the criminal responsible for Flint’s wife’s condition to bait him. This man, Polo, and his crew gang-raped and beat Flint’s wife into a coma while making him watch. So, needless to say he has some personal interest in dispatching Polo.
Meanwhile Van Damme is hired by the “anonymous client” to take out Polo. The two cross paths and are forced to choose between working together or continuing to get in each other’s way.
Every Team Needs a Beginning
Captain America came out last week and the whole “Never Not a Nerd team” saw it. I did a review with Abdul and a review with Rick, then combined them into one. Watch it below to find out if you need to see Captain America.
Boom Boom Blah
Transformers: Dark of the Moon was never supposed to be a great film, but it was supposed to redeem Michael Bay & company for the atrocity that was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Does it do so? Watch the video below to find out.

This Film Shall Not Escape My Site
This movie is a lot more blackest night than brightest day. If you know Green Lantern you understand the reference. The live-action Green Lantern movie where Ryan Reynolds plays Hal Jordan, a man who becomes the first human Green Lantern is a decent film, it’s just not what this fan was hoping for. Check out the review below.
Ever Wish Your Boss Were Dead?
Horrible Bosses is a film in which Nick, Dale, and Kurt all work for people that they can’t stand, but due to their past, threats from their boss, or the job market being terrible they feel as though they can’t risk leaving to look for something better.
Nick’s (Jason Bateman) boss (Kevin Spacey) is completely nuts and decides to pass Nick over for a promotion and take on being both the President and Vice president of the company. Dale’s (Charlie Day) boss (Jennifer Aniston) is sexually harassing him and threatening to blackmail him to his fiancee with pictures she took while Dale was unconscious unless he has sex with her. And Kurt’s boss (Colin Farrell) wants to strip the company for all its profits and be rid of it.
Because they all feel so stuck they decide their best option is to kill their bosses.
