Comedian IV

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On September - 27 - 2012

Just like those Dr Manhattan Air Jordan IV’s I posted over the summer, Sekure D again took the Air Jordan IV and customized them, this time based on The Comedian from Watchmen. He was selling these for $550, but they’re now sold out. He has an e-mail link on the page though where you can commission a pair of these. If you’re interested, do that here.

Air Jordan X DC

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On July - 5 - 2012

Don’t quote me on the series name. I don’t think these are being called the Jordan x DC line, but what else was I going to call four pairs of DC character themed sneakers? The above image is for the Batman Jordan’s. Check below for images of the Joker, Superman, and The Flash pairs.

These are being released today, and as far as I know they will run $150 per pair. I could see a lot of the Batman pairs being sold. The others, I’m not so sure.

Dr Manhattan IV

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On July - 4 - 2012

These sneakers are pretty damn cool. Artist Sekure D took a pair of Nike Air Jordan IVs and made them into Dr Manhattan (of Watchmen) customs. Being custom sneakers gives them a hefty price tag and limited sizes. If you want these to be yours you’re going to have to be a size 10 or be willing to sit them on a shelf and have $550 to burn. If you fit that description go here.

Medicom Be@rbrick Converse Chuck Taylor Sneakers

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On November - 20 - 2011

Yesterday I posted a pic of Nike’s take on the tauntaun from Star Wars. Today I have a pic of some Be@rbrick Converse that are currently only available in Japan currently. If you couldn’t tell from this image, the shoe is modeled after polar bear fur. I bet they get very dirty very quickly. You can find more info and images at Freshness MagĀ here.

Nike SB Tauntaun

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On November - 19 - 2011

These Tauntaun sneakers are sick. They’re probably impossibly hard to find and import at the moment, but maybe it’s worth a shot if you’re a collector of dunks, or a huge Star Wars fan. You can find more info and pictures over at Freshness Mag.

Actually, they’re $140 on eBay.
