I’m pulling this late August game release out now, because I have something else planned for that week.
I am very very excited for this game, and while a great live-action trailer featuring some of the mythos of the game recently came out, I wanted to show one with some gameplay. This trailer from last month’s E3 plays like a launch trailer with some cut scene moments, some gameplay, and a whole lot of epic. Check it out below.

Wow, so back around the time of the Super Bowl I was REALLY excited for Cowboys & Aliens. Now, not so much. I still want to see it, I’m just not nearly as hopeful as I was back then. I’ve had the demo for this on my 360 for about a month and I’ve been meaning to get to it. This trailer was the first I’ve seen of El Shaddai, and it looks really cool. It has a great art style. Check out the trailer below. Oh, and disregard the whole “like if Lady Gaga made a video game” thing, that’s just a dumb thing to say.

Forza 4 isn’t coming out until October, but there are about 10 other games coming out that month and I sense the possibility of it getting lost in the AAA shuffle. It was definitely impressive at E3, so I wanted to take the time now to highlight how good this game looks. Check it out below.
Child of Eden – Video of the Week!!

I thought this game was supposed to be for 360 and PS3 (requiring Move), but it seems like it might be a Kinect only game. This seems like another good reason to get a Kinect, if you haven’t been dancing like crazy in your living room already.
Red Faction: Armageddon – Video of the Week!!

Next week’s a big week. E3 is happening and Red Faction: Armageddon and Infamous 2 come out on Tuesday. Also, Super 8 comes out in theaters, so it’s a good week for sci-fi. I haven’t given Armageddon too much love and I feel like it has the biggest chance of getting lost behind Infamous 2, Super 8, and a ton of video game news. Check out a trailer for it below.
