Penny Arcade Takes on the PSN Outage
Penny Arcade is really awesome and is completely hitting the nail on the head for how I’m sure a lot of PS3 gamers have been feeling since last week.
The Muppets Are Always Cool
The Muppets and Disney are going to be bringing us, all of us, a 96-page comic written and penciled by Roger Langridge this July.
In DISNEY•MUPPETS PRESENTS: MEET THE MUPPETS, the gang plans to revive their variety show and bring back favorite sketches like “Pigs in Space” and “Veterinarian’s Hospital.” Meanwhile, Kermit misses the swamp, and the gang tries to cheer him up. Fozzy revamps his standup act, but everything he tries gets the same boos as his original routine. Scooter attempts to figure out once and for all what species Gonzo belongs to. And a psychic tells Miss Piggy she’s going to lose something green.
Mass Effect Comic Book Trailer
These issues have been releasing already, but check out the trailer for Dark Horse’s second series in the Mass Effect universe, Mass Effect: Evolution.
Portal 2: Lab Rat
I’m unsure of how long ago it was put up(ok, it was yesterday), but you can find an awesome Portal 2 comic here. It’s really well done with art I like more than most major releases you’d be charged money for. Want even better news? The second part comes out in just 2 days! Want even better better news?! Portal 2 comes out in just 10 days!

2011 Eisner Award Nominees
The nominees for the 2011 Will Eisner awards were announced earlier today. The award recipients will be announced at Comic Con. Check below for the list, it’s loooong.
Priest Animated Prologue
Ah, Priest, it doesn’t look like a story driven movie, but it looks to be a fun ride. An animated prologue animated by Genndy Tartakovsky was just released, but the studio wants you to jump through some serious hoops to get it. Fortunately Bleeding Cool, the guys who told us Jamie Bell would be Spider-Man, acquired it and uploaded it to Youtube. Check out the video below.
May Covers – DC
I haven’t done a covers post for DC so far this year, so it’s about time I start. The covers below are in chronological order by the date they release.
The cover above is for Superboy #7, it was done by Karl Kerschel.
Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh, Cowboy Batman!
Where do I begin on this one? It’s tough. Well, I guess I should start off by saying that Batman and time travel are two of the coolest things ever. No, not just two of my favorite things ever, two of the coolest things ever.
In The Return of Bruce Wayne, Batman starts off in cave man times and needs to make his way back to the present. The only catch is that by the time he does he will have collected enough omega energy to destroy the universe. This was all the devious plan of Darkseid in the beginning. Are you confused yet?
