Avengers vs. X-Men is Marvel’s next event comic. I am definitely a fan of the X-Men, and I’ve been getting more into the Avengers through their newer comics and the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon. It appears that Patton Oswalt shares my X-Men bias. Check below for a video of that.

Just as the tittle says Brian Wood, of Northlanders and DMZ fame, is going to be on X-Men Regenesis this coming January. More info should be coming out at NY Comic Con, so check back after this weekend.
So my speculation was wrong. That isn’t Juggernaut on the Uncanny X-Men cover, but Colossus with a Juggernaut helmet on, I’m confused. Anyway, joining Colossus and Emma Frost is Colossus’ sister Magik. Side note: It appears that Jubilee and Storm will be in the normal old X-Men.
A new Vertigo series from Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso (the creators of 100 Bullets) is coming this fall.
The first issue comes out in October and is going to be $1, so you have no excuse not to buy it.

On the recently recorded 13th episode of The Never Not a Nerd Show we talked about this teaser image above. I have some speculation that maybe Johnny Storm never even died. We didn’t see his dead body, he was just laying obscured in the background.

Here it is, here’s the all new cover featuring the all-new Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales! This is the variant cover though, the “real” cover is below the cut, so check that out too.
This issue is going to hit stores September 7th.
What the hell is going on with this one? Is someone exploding in the background? Are Wolverine’s claws in that unfortunate person next to him? Wolverine does look awesome though.
Anybody have any speculation on who is joining him on this cover?
