This month already has a week in the books, but I didn’t want to post about my favorite Marvel comic covers for the month and leave DC out. These are separated by release date, then alphabetically. Vertigo covers are under all the DC covers.

This is a variant cover by Skottie Young for the first issue of Marvel’s upcoming event comic Avengers vs. X-Men. It’s only available from Midtown Comics, it’s $8, and you can buy it here. You could also wait to buy this as a poster from your local comic shop in June.
My favorite part is the marital strife of Storm electrocuting Black Panther.
Avengers vs. X-Men is Marvel’s next event comic. I am definitely a fan of the X-Men, and I’ve been getting more into the Avengers through their newer comics and the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon. It appears that Patton Oswalt shares my X-Men bias. Check below for a video of that.
This series starts in March.
