American Idol judge Randy Jackson thinks it’s time for the public to stop focusing on the judges of the competition and start paying more attention to the contestants. Come on Randy! Do you really think people watch those shows to see people who are only usually decent singers that you and the people you work for want to turn into the next Miley Cyrus? No, they don’t. People watch American Idol for two reasons: to see how bad the contestants get ripped on by the judges, and because the public are allowed to vote and feel like they have a choice in the matter.

Paula Abdul left the show before this season and up until now has been replaced by celebrity judges. Ellen DeGeneres, also known worldwide for her musical genius, will fill her role as the fourth judge in a couple of weeks when the Hollywood round starts.

Simon Cowell has recently publicly said this will be his last season on American Idol, and as who i think is the reason most people watch American Idol, the other judges have a right to be worried.  I’m really curious to see where they go with it, but I don’t think it will really last much longer after he leaves.
