On episode 66 of The Never Not a Nerd Show Rick and I talk about the Xbox 360 port of the hit PC game Minecraft.
What kind of nerds dont like minecraft? I probably play a few hours a day. Theres something rewarding about building a rendition of the seattle space needle with limited textures and only cubes to use. I have it for both Pc and Xbox and choose to play it on the Xbox based on controls and the networking available on XBL. Even when i played on the PC i used a PS3 controller. GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE, maybe you’ll learn to love it. Look up redstone, its genius.

I could see myself trying the PC version, but I don’t think I could spend $15 on it. Have you tried Spelunky? That’s a similar thing. I really like it, but $15 is a lot for that type of game.
