There is a new release coming from Apple Corps and EMI Music regarding The Beatles. Soon there will be an apple-shaped USB that contains the entire Beatles catalog. The tracks will only be available with purchasing one of the 30,000 limited edition apple-shaped USBs. The only problem is that you only have a stereo option, and the USB costs more than The Beatles Stereo Box Set.
It’s good for collectors, sure. But so is the box set, which I happen to think also looks pretty snazzy. I suppose that the USB is pretty nice for the tech/music lovers; it does look pretty nice and I am a fan of special designs for flash drives, but still, it’s about $100 more than the box set. Maybe they justify it by declaring that it takes up less space?
Sure, it’s nice enough. But really, if you aren’t very concerned with having collectors’ items and are really just interested in the music, you may as well just stick with getting the box set. Either way, you’re looking to pay a hefty sum, but still, you may as well go the cheaper route.
