The line-up for Coachella, the huge three day music festival in Indio California, was announced yesterday. It includes headliners such as Jay-z, Muse, and Gorillaz. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday January 22nd at 10AM (doesn’t specify time zone). Three-day passes will be $269 plus charges from Ticketmaster (which will probably total something over $300). Click the cut for the poster showing the entire line-up separated by day.
It’s always so hard to see every band you want to because of the amount of stages and the overlapping times. Just in case you were curious, here is who I would see/recommend by day if the times worked out(which they wouldn’t).
Friday: Jay-Z, LCD Soundsystem, Them Crooked Vultures, Grizzly Bear, Echo and the Bunnymen, She & Him, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Yeasayer and Baroness
Saturday: Faith No More, MGMT, The Dead Weather, Hot Chip, Devo, 2ManyDJ’s, Major Lazer, Mew, Camera Obscura, Flying Lotus, and Beach House
Sunday: Gorillaz, Pavement, Thom Yorke and whoever he’s with, Phoenix, Spoon, Sly and the Family Stone, De La Soul, Gary Numan, and Deerhunter
