Batman’s Buddy and His Beat-down Sticks

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 31 - 2011

Nightwing is coming to Arkham City. The content pack will be released as downloadable content for 560 MS points on the 360, or $7 on the PS3, tomorrow November 1st. The pack allows you to play as Nightwing in any challenge map, and it also gives you two new challenge maps, which are “Wayne Manor” and “Main Hall”.  Check out the trailer below.

If I don’t get power back soon, this will most likely be my last post of the day.

Video of the Week!! – Saints Row the Third

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 31 - 2011

Saints Row is an underdog kind of franchise, and this trailer is here to show you that it has just as much to offer as some of the other big name games of this season. Check out the “Shock and Awesome” trailer below.

My Preciouses – Nerd Shirt of the Day

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 30 - 2011

It’s 9:30 on the east coast and I’m JUST posting nerd shirt of the day?! I have an explanation. It snowed here yesterday and I’ve been without power for around 30 hours now, and they’re saying it might not come back on until Wednesday. My heat is gas, but it needs electricity to run. I HAVE NO HEAT!

Anyway, this shirt is creeeeeeeepy, but kind of cool. If you’d like to buy one head over here.

I promise tomorrow’s shirt will be way less creepy.

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 29 - 2011

St Vincent’s Annie Clark shreds live. I’ll be completely honest, I haven’t even heard the album these songs are from yet, but I really dig them live. Check out the set below.

Di-S(I)N-ey City

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 29 - 2011

Weekends are for catching up around here. This video was first posted on YouTube early in October, and became known to me through a Facebook friend’s status update over a week ago. I just got around to watching it, and it is amazing. The editor apparently wasn’t happy with the final product, but unlike a lot of other videos like this it seems like he uses the same Disney movie for the same segment of Sin City. The only thing that’s remotely crazy and off is the sequence at the end where it shifts from movie to movie. Anyway, you need to see this if you haven’t yet.

When Life Sucks – Nerd Shirt of the Day

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 29 - 2011

It’d be sweet if life had an undo button. No one would have ever pissed their pants, ever. Well, I guess it could be like a one-minute version of Groundhog Day, and instead of waking up to that same talk radio show you would flash back to the same moment where you have to pee worse than you ever have before, but there’s no bathroom in sight. An undo button could be a nightmare.

If you’d like to buy one of these head over here. No rush people, it’s on Woot, so you have a few days at least.

Modern Warfare 3 Launch Trailer

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 28 - 2011

I just got Battlefield 3 this Tuesday, and while it is good the single player doesn’t hold a candle to the craziness that is the single player campaign in the Modern Warfare franchise. Check out the launch trailer for MW3 below.

November Covers – Dark Horse, IDW, Image, & Top Cow

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On October - 28 - 2011

These are my favorite covers from the aforementioned imprints for the month of November. Unlike the DC & Marvel posts this one is just split up by company and not by date.

The above cover is for Star Wars: Crimson Empire III – Empire Lost #2. It was done by Dave Dorman.
