If You Thought the New Wonder Woman Show Would Suck…

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On February - 2 - 2011

…you were probably completely correct. I’ve had my reservations about it since I heard it was being picked up. Well, before that honestly. A David E. Kelley Wonder Woman show? All he’s really done is Doogie Howser and a bunch of law shows. Is he really the right person to be behind this? Then McG’s name came into the picture and I thought, if it wasn’t going to have the same tone as Chuck then, it definitely will now.

Bleeding Cool got a hold of the script and is pretty much confirming suspicion that it is going to be just like every other show David Kelley is responsible for, just with Wonder Woman in it (I’m surprised he didn’t make her a lawyer). Go here for the full story.

Kato…and That Other Guy

Posted by Jamie Concepcion On February - 2 - 2011

In The Green Hornet Seth Rogen plays Britt Reid, a privileged asshole with nothing better to do than party every night and embarrass his father. After his father dies Britt is reluctant to do anything, including running his father’s newspaper. That is, until he meets Kato, by way of a bad cup of coffee. See, not only was Kato Britt’s father’s mechanic, he also made the coffee. It makes sense in context, I guess. After realizing Kato can do whatever he wants him to, Britt decides to fight crime, posing as a criminal, as The Green Hornet. Is it worth the money or does this adaptation just stin(g)k?

Poor little balrog kills everyone that gets close to him. One of the downsides of constantly being on fire I supposed. “You shall not…have a social life!” If you’d like to buy this shirt you can do so here.
