Here is the game releasing later today that you might want to check out.
Please Knock Me Out
I’ve seen all of the Broken Lizard movies (except for Puddle Cruiser) up until now. A lot of people put Super Troopers on a pedestal as some amazing comedy, but the truth is it’s a decent movie. Club Dread was pretty awful. Beerfest was entertaining and I remember laughing at it more than any other Broken Lizard movie. So, where does The Slammin’ Salmon stack up?
The Slammin’ Salmon is a movie about a Miami restaurant owned by a retired boxer named “Slammin” Cleon Salmon. He gets into a gambling debt with the head of the Yakuza over a Japanese albino hunting bet and needs his restaurant to make $20,000 in a single night so he can pay the Yakuza boss. The only problem is the most they’ve made in a night is around $15,000. So, the manager offers a prize to whatever waiter makes the most money that night in order to make the restaurant the money its owner needs.

Music Monday – LCD Soundsystem
In honor of LCD Soundsystem releasing their third album a month from now I give you their first album. A lot of people think Sound of Silver is better, but if you got the double disc version of this self-titled album I don’t know how you can think that. Yeah, Sound of Silver has some good songs, but this album is pretty great. Check out the double-disc version, which is an hour and forty minutes long, under the cut.
Video of the Week!! – Super Street Fighter IV
This week’s video of the week is the new character trailer from Super Street Fighter IV, which will be releasing April 27th. This was back before Hakan was announced, so it only shows nine characters and gives you the hint of a Turkish oil wrestler at the end.
I also included the trailer for 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. The game looks pretty good and will serve as a nice lead-in to the actual World Cup this summer.

Webcomic of the Week – Three Panel Soul
Three Panel Soul by Ian McConville and Matt Boyd is a fun strip that updates sometimes and contains a series of different artistic styles just for the sake of experimentation with comics. After their first series, Mac Hall, the two switched over to a format of doing strips wherein each comic is three panels only. Depending on the artistic style, the panels will look different, perhaps even quite large, but regardless, each issue is three panels. Beyond that, they are quite honestly some gorgeous panels.
